Three credit scores
In the world of credit you are always going to have three different credit scores. The three credit bureaus who calculate what your credit score is are TransUnion Equifax and Experian. They determine a lot of compensating factors based on your activity in credit to monitor what your credit score is. Most mortgage lenders use the middle credit score to get you pre-approved to purchase a home. Credit scores range between 300 and 850 and anything above a 720 credit score is considered good credit. Having good credit can save you a lot of money an interest to the financial institutions you get loans for or charge on. Not all credit cards or financial institutions report to all 3 credit bureaus.Equifax is located in Atlanta Georgia while Experian is in Allen Texas and Transunion is located in Chester Pennsylvania. If you have bad credit it is in your best interest to dispute derogatory items and challenge the credit bureaus on the reporting accuracy.
